The Executive Holidays 2009 challenge

The Executive Holidays team challenge you to participate in the Auckland 2009 Cathay Pacific Half Marathon or 11km run/walk. A number of our team will be trying to shed post Christmas kilos so we'd like to offer you the opportunity to join an "Executive Holidays Team" in completing one of these events on 22 February 09. In order to entice you we would like to offer a subsidised entry fee - standard entry fee is $45; join our team and pay just $25. We will also be hosting a post run/walk celebration. Las Vegas...the adult version of Disneyland

Reminder to all those travelling to/through USA

Please be reminded that effective 12th January 2009, all citizens transiting and/or visiting the United States of America (USA) for less than 90 days, from the visa-waiver countries (eg NZ passport holders etc), must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation online prior to boarding a plane or ship. Travellers must do this by registering their biographical and travel details online here prior to departure.

It has previously been optional for Australian and New Zealand citizens to apply for a Travel Authorisation for entry to the USA.

Air NZ companion fares to UK
Air NZ has released Premium Economy and Business Premier companion fares to London for up to three people travelling together for sales until 02 March.  Premium Economy fares are from $5000 for the first person and $4000 per extra person, for travel 21 Apr - 30 Nov.  Business Premier fares are from $9750 and $5000 respectively, for travel 29 Mar - 30 Nov.  A great deal so talk to your Executive Holidays consultant for more details.



Free Emirates upgrades
Emirates has free Trans Tasman upgrades for Skywards members to 31 Jan.  Members who use 12,500 Skywards miles to upgrade on their outbound trip will receive a complimentary return upgrade.

Sydney Harbour Bridge tolls
Sydney Harbour Bridges' cash toll booths have closed for good, ending 75 years of drivers handing over coins.  From now, users will need an e-tag, a new e-toll pass or will have to pay the toll and an administration fee afterwards.  If you are hiring a car in Sydney please ask your rental car company to explain their policy.

Docklands Wheel Open
Melbournes' giant observation wheel, the Southern Star, is now open, with tickets priced at AU$29 per adult and AU$17 per child.
